Rockin' Boats is a family business owned and operated by Jason Deering and Jennifer McLean Deering.  Jason is originally from Newfoundland and grew up in and around the boating industry.  He has been working with fiberglass for over 15 years and is known locally as one of the most talented in his field.  He earned this reputation working for one of the most well-respected performance boat shops in the Barrie/Orillia area for 5 years before deciding to open his own shop.  Jason takes great pride in his work and goes above and beyond what is expected of him on each and every job because he believes that is the right way to do business.  He truly puts his heart into his work and it shows.  Jennifer is your first contact with our shop...her many titles include operations manager, bookkeeping, work scheduling and payroll...she works hard to keep things running smoothly!

This 38' Donzi came from Nova Scotia to be repaired because the damage was so bad that the owner couldn't find anyone to fix it.  She had hit a bell buoy at high speeds on the open ocean and sunk with a 14' long by 8' high gash ripped out of the side of her.  Jason agreed to take on the job and successfully repaired the boat by designing his own mold in order to recreate the side of the boat.
